I finally decided to join deviantART. I've been a fan of it for quite a while, even before I had any reason to be a member. Now I have a few photos I think are decent enough to publish, so I'll be posting them over the next few days.

Photography is one of my recent (and approachingly more expensive) hobbies, which stemmed from stargazing. My interest in it is gaining rapidly as I gain more experience, and I find myself getting bolder with the camera. I'm anxious to see how I progress for I've found there's nothing like the satisfaction of an almost perfectly-composed shot, especially since there seems to be only one or two per roll.

Currently, my equipment consists of a Minolta Maxxum STsi, the 28mm-80mm lens that came with it, and a tripod. I have an expensive flash that is literally on its way (in the mail). It'll be exciting to see what can be done with it.
